Your application is subject to the bank's normal "Know Your Client" anti-money laundering guidelines. As such, the bank will require you, as part of the application to provide the following information:

For all companies, partnerships and sole traders, the bank requires:

1. The return of the Appointment of Bankers form and the Account
application form duly signed and completed. We will forward these
forms to you for completion and execution.

2. A Personal Record Sheet for each director and signatory needs to be
completed. We will also supply these to you.

3. Identification: a full passport or UK driving licence for all necessary
officials of the business. You may, by arrangement with us, present
yourself at a local branch for identification.

4. Address Confirmation: either a voter's roll confirmation at current
address for the last 3 years, or utility bill (not mobile phone bill), local
authority bill or bank statement is required for all officials of the
business.

5. Proof of trading name:

a) limited companies: if a company is using a trading name then a
board of directors resolution signed by the relevant company officials
needs to be provided.
b) partnerships: a letterhead or business card which states the trading
name of the business, trading address and telephone number and the
partners' names
c) sole traders: a letterhead or business card which states the trading
name of the business, trading address and telephone number and the
owner's name

6. Where the applicant is a limited company you will also need to provide
the Company registration number (as on Certificate of Incorporation)
and proof of shareholding of the limited company.

7. Where a limited company has a nominee company acting as
its Company Secretary, then a letter is required from the corporate
services provider stating their Company Number and that the secretary
is "acting purely in an administrational capacity and has no signing
power on the account"
