OFFSHORE BANK ACCOUNTS IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS

For bank accounts in other offshore jurisdictions our preferred banking partners vary. However the banks we choose to deal with are all international banks of good standing. It is a prerequisite that any bank we recommend has an excellent international reputation and offers a broad range of offshore banking services.

The process of opening a bank account through Rapid Companies ensures that your application has the best chance of being approved without delay.

Soon after you complete this online order process we will forward to you the relevant bank documents for your completion and signature. Once completed, we ask that you return the applications and supporting documents to us so that we may review your application and prepare it for submission to the bank. Once the submission pack has been completed, we then meet with the bank on your behalf to lodge the application. In this way we can follow your application from receipt right through the bank compliance stage and ensure the account is opened as quickly as possible. Please note: the normal time frame for account opening is two weeks from the date the application is submitted by us to the bank.

Your application is subject to the bank's normal "Know Your Client" anti-money laundering guidelines. As such, the bank will require you, as part of the application to provide the following information:

For all companies, partnerships and sole traders, the bank requires:

1. The return of the Appointment of Bankers form and the Account
application form duly signed and completed. We will forward these
forms to you for completion and execution.

2. A Personal Record Sheet for each director and signatory needs to be
completed. We will also supply these to you.

3. Banker's verification and Reference form duly signed and completed.
We will provide this for you

4. Request to Professional Firms for Reference form signed and
completed. This is supplied by us.

5. Identification: certified copies of a full passport or driving license for
all necessary officials of the business along with details of all parties
home addresses.

6. Address Confirmation: certified copies of a utility bill (not mobile
phone bill), local authority bill or bank statement (less than 3 months
old) is required for all officials of the business. This requirement is
waived for Cyprus.

7. An original letter of reference from your local bank. This needs to be
addressed to the bank and NOT "To Whom it May Concern". We will
supply a transcript of the letter required by the bank

8. A statement of affairs. This is a letter detailing the share capital of the
company, the shareholders and their percentage holding. Any
shareholder that exceeds 20% ownership will need to complete a
personal record sheet and provide certified identification. We would
be happy to assist you with this.

9. Where the applicant is registered in another country, a certified copy of
the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company is
required.

Note: Please ensure that documents requiring certification are certified by a public notary, accountant, lawyer or your overseas bank with the following wording - "I, [name of notary] hereby certify this is a true and exact copy of the original document". This wording should be dated, signed by the person certifying and have an official company stamp from the organisation of the person certifying the documents.
